As always, getting constructive feedback is one of the best ways to make me an even better personal trainer. Also comments / email / text like the one above motivate me for my work. Personal training can be challenging once in a while but this is when I feel doing this is worth it!
Is logic the most important?
Most of the people who hire you as a personal trainer because they have a goal. Then you want to guide your clients for what is the best. Yet you never want to ignore how they feel about training.
I learned this the hard way.
Although your logic is 100% right, new trainees need to like exercising first. Otherwise, they will not continue it. I still try to give them safe / corrective exercises but if they want to feel “wow I had a great workout”, I should find out what they like.
