Everyone has a specific reason to start working out. By far, the most common goal for starting out personal training is for weight loss.
If you are interested in taking a lesson, you may want to know what you can get from a personal trainer.
Personal Training don’t include
- Diagnose
- Prescribe
- Recommend supplements
- Treat injury
- Rehabilitate
Many clients asked me for nutritional advice. “What is good for weight loss?”, “I saw pictures of clients. What has she been eating?”. Unfortunately, I can’t answer any of these questions. However, MyPlate is the place to find your answer.
Also the Canadian government provides healthy food plans.
Do include
- Receive exercise, health, or nutrition guidelines from a physician and work with them.
- Design exercise programs
- Use exercises to help improve overall health
- Once client is released from rehabilitation, design an exercise program
Personal trainer can design a program for weight loss goals. Also personal trainers can choose the right type of exercise to prevent injuries.
